A prototype for tracking athlete growth over time

The challenge

Develupp, a company founded by former Houston Astros executives, wanted to give coaches a consistent way to test athletes and track their growth. Many coaches track development in their heads or in scattered spreadsheets, and tests are run a little differently each time, so results are hard to compare.

What we built

We worked with Develupp on what the first version should do. The answer was simple, consistent data. The prototype gives coaches a standard way to record tests such as sprints and jumps, tied to the athlete and the date. Athlete profiles show growth over time, and team views rank athletes on each test.

How we worked

We planned the data so new ways of capturing measurements can be added later. This project is a prototype and a product direction, not a launched platform.
