Are your apps HIPAA compliant?
We build apps to meet HIPAA's requirements, including role-based access, encryption, audit logs, and a business associate agreement with you. Full compliance also depends on your organization's policies and training, so we work with your compliance lead on both.
Will you sign a business associate agreement?
Yes. When a project involves protected health information, we sign a business associate agreement before we handle any of it.
Can you connect to our EHR?
Often, yes. We build products integrated with Epic, and we know how EHRs fit into clinic work. What is possible depends on your EHR and what it allows, so we look at the options during the assessment and tell you plainly.
Do we have to replace the systems we already use?
No. Most clinic tools we build fill the gaps around the systems you already have.
Can you work within our IRB requirements?
Yes. We plan the app's data collection and storage around your approved protocol and your institution's policies, and we work with your team when anything needs to change.
